The Jayco Sterling Series caravans is Jayco's most luxurious 'towable' recreational vehicle/caravan and comes packed with a large range of standard features.

It's little wonder the Jayco Sterling Series is Australasia’s most popular caravan.

The reason for the Jayco Sterling caravan has stayed so far in front of other models is that the range is available in an astounding 200 layouts either as a caravan or pop-top. Only Jayco has the manufacturing capacity and technology to be able to offer a luxury van in so many configurations.

And then there is the combination of sheer luxury yet practical functionality that makes owning one of these Jayco premium vans such a sterling idea.

The Jayco Sterling Caravan's blending of style and elegance with ease-of-use fixtures and features continues to attract new owners.

A vast number of layouts include a shower and toilet making them completely self-contained and are designed very much for a couple seeking real comfort. But there are also other models that have additional bunks for children.

Sterlings stand out from so many other caravans as Jayco builds all its models using sleek fibreglass walls rather than aluminum, giving the van a genuine automotive look and styling. Hooked up behind a modern tow vehicle the entire rig certainly stands out.

The Sterling is also available as an Outback model, which include built-in ruggedness through the van's superstructure and undercarriage, including a beefier suspension system, whilst inside all the luxury features are still retained.

MILLENNIUM CHASSIS
Independent testers describe it as the clever chassis …
› Superior strength and protection.
› PSC members that support the floor are superior when subjected to bending and compression than box section steel.
› The design enables the chassis to be lightweight but still achieve maximum strength.
› All chassis are galvanized for long life.
› Pressed holes offer protection for under floor wiring and plumbing.

JAYCO TOUGH FRAME
› Latest revolution in RV construction.
› 19mm x 19mm tubular aluminium outer frame.
› 4 vacuum-bonded layers comprising fibreglass, ply and polystyrene foam.
› Superior insulation and dent resistant.
› Incorporates galvanized plating to support the internal furniture fittings.
› Outer fibreglass skin is 150% thicker than standard aluminium with high gloss gel-coat finish.

RELIABLE POWER
The Setec power converter is Australian-designed and constructed for our sometimes
inconsistent supply of power in remote areas. This built-in fused power converter provides
a safe 12v supply from 240v mains. Produced especially for Jayco, the Setec system
delivers generous lighting on either 240v or 12v supply.

When only 12v power is available, the unit is self-sensing and no switching is required.
A valuable additional feature of the unit is its built-in trickle charger (13.5v output) to cater for an auxiliary battery.

OK, you’re an explorer by nature with spirit of adventure more imaginative than most.

With Jayco’s Outback range you can now venture throughout Australia’s vast network of unsealed roads, freeing you up to explore some of the nation’s most incredible hideaways.

Jayco’s Outback range has the added strength and clearance you’ll need for rugged conditions, but there are limits!
Some bush tracks are barely suitable for a 4WD, let alone a Jayco Sterling!

One thing is for sure: when you reach your destination, you’ll really appreciate the home comforts inside your Jayco Outback Sterling!

When you are driving ‘off road’ and in unfamiliar territory, always take precautions such as driving slower and taking extra care … as the most experienced 4-wheel drivers say: “it’s best to use your Jayco Sterling as a base station and head into rougher terrain without anything under tow”.
