Jayco has responded to the demand of RV holiday enthusiasts across the country, by bringing the Starcraft Caravan and Pop Top to their range of luxury Jayco RVs. The Starcraft is perfect for the cost conscious buyer who appreciates all the qualities synonymous with Jayco.

The Starcraft has been designed in five versatile layouts and the Pop Top has two alternative floor plans. The highly impressive external features of this van include a galvanised chassis, 14 inch alloy wheels, 12V annexe light, front pebble guard, stone shield, insulated roof and walls, external mains pressure tap and a choice of one or two 82 litre water tank, just to name a few.

Internal features include solid timber doors, aluminium corner furniture, lift up beds to maximise space with orthopaedic slats and Inner spring mattresses, flushing stainless steel sink with cover, microwave, rubber backed curtains & ties, designer box pelmets, splashbacks, domestic 3-way fridge, SMEV 4 burner gas grill with one 240v element, 12v ignition & flame failure device.

Jayco has developed the Starcraft model with a cladded aluminium frame, a product widely used by other RV producers which is less expensive to manufacture comparatively to Jayco’s vacuum bonded fibreglass and aluminium frame.

The Starcraft is a perfect solution for those holiday makers who don’t have a large budget but love the idea of a self-drive holiday around our sunburnt country.

MILLENNIUM CHASSIS
Independent testers describe it as the clever chassis …
› Superior strength and protection.
› PSC members that support the floor are superior when subjected to bending and compression than box section steel.
› The design enables the chassis to be lightweight but still achieve maximum strength.
› All chassis are galvanized for long life.
› Pressed holes offer protection for under floor wiring and plumbing.

RELIABLE POWER
The Setec power converter is Australian-designed and constructed for our sometimes
inconsistent supply of power in remote areas. This built-in fused power converter provides
a safe 12v supply from 240v mains. Produced especially for Jayco, the Setec system
delivers generous lighting on either 240v or 12v supply.

When only 12v power is available, the unit is self-sensing and no switching is required.
A valuable additional feature of the unit is its built-in trickle charger (13.5v output) to cater for an auxiliary battery.

With Jayco’s Outback range you can now venture throughout Australia’s vast network of unsealed roads, freeing you up to explore some of the nation’s most incredible hideaways.

Jayco’s Outback range has the added strength and clearance you’ll need for rugged conditions, but there are limits!
Some bush tracks are barely suitable for a 4WD, let alone a Jayco Sterling!

One thing is for sure: when you reach your destination, you’ll really appreciate the home comforts inside your Jayco Outback Sterling!

When you are driving ‘off road’ and in unfamiliar territory, always take precautions such as driving slower and taking extra care … as the most experienced 4-wheel drivers say: “it’s best to use your Jayco as a base station and head into rougher terrain without anything under tow”.
